Expressions of Praise
The ministry group Expressions of Praise is a crucible for ministers of Christ. Born out of the need for the young people of the Richmond Park Church of the Nazarene, Kingston Jamaica to use the performing arts to bring glory to God and to minister healing to people the group made entrance to the stage just before the dawn of the 21st century. The group boasts Four Main Arms- Drama, Movements (Dance), Speech and Music intricately linked to other functions which include the directing of the ministry, the backstage and technical functions.
The group falls under the umbrella of the Nazarene Youth International (N.Y.I.) and is thus comprised of NYI members but not exclusive to. The ministers have as their theme chorus ¨This is my desire¨. Naturally the members have had to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ at some point.
The group has completed 8 main productions under the Directors Dr. and Mrs. Victor Elliot and Mrs. Cheryl Riley (The Present Director). The group made entrance in 1999 with a resounding applause for the ¨Christmas Production¨

Unconditional is the most recent. It graced the stage with its debut performance on July 1, 2006 at Richmond Park in tribute to the 40th anniversary celebration of the church.
It went west when the group captured the hearts of our sisters and brothers there. Drama turned to the reality when God’s unconditional love pierced cast members and congregation. November 18, 2006 at The Mount Shiloh Church of the Nazarene was the place to be.
Many requests are pouring in from across the island for this production to be done. To God be the glory. The group intends to be more professional each time and to Have God’s anointing on each performance.
